Lumen Christi High School is centered on Our Lord Jesus Christ as present in the Gospel. As a Roman Catholic school, under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Anchorage, Alaska, we seek to prepare students to interact in a global society by nurturing respect for life and an acceptance of responsibility to self and community. Lumen Christi High School strives to provide a high level of academic excellence, welcoming students of all beliefs. In our Alaskan environment, our academic curriculum is presented from a perspective that encourages the balanced development of one‟s spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs. Hence our students are challenged constantly to develop and use all their gifts and talents as they bear witness to their faith by acts of compassionate service to their neighbors.
