Anne Spont
Anne Spont graduated from the University of Notre Dame with magna cum laude studying Honors Sociology and Education. At school, she was highly involved in conducting her own research in the educational field, completing two undergraduate theses and achieving an Alliance for Catholic Education Student Leadership Award and membership in the Sociology Honor Society. She loves teaching and believes that teaching has multiple roles, including being an active investigator, finding individualized ways to meet each student’s needs in order to ensure and maximize student learning and success. This is her first time in Alaska and at Lumen Christi. She will be working towards her Alaska Teacher Certification. Outside of school she enjoys hiking, playing sports, and reading social science literature. She is extremely excited to become part of the Lumen Christi community.
