Christa Looney
Christa Looney teaches history, social studies and Pre-Algebra. Mrs. Looney uses a variety of teaching methods from formal to informal learning strategies, and cooperative learning experiences. She has over 30 years of educational experience in private, large group, and classroom settings. In 2009, she achieved her personal goal by graduating cum laude from Grand Canyon University and become a Certified Teacher in Alaska the same year. Learning is a lifelong passion and she continues to achieve academic endorsements.
Mrs. Looney has considered Alaska home for over 20 years. She enjoys community service as a member of “Newborns in Need” and short mission trips within the State with her two daughters and husband.
