Debbie Brewer
Ms. Brewer has over 15 years of teaching experience and has been with Lumen Christi High School since its beginnings. She earned her qualifications in biochemistry at Fort Lewis College in Colorado and in education at Alaska Pacific University. She views teaching as a two-way activity involving both students and teacher. Learning needs to be as much experience as possible in a structured and safe environment. Her Lumen Christi “duties” include being the senior advisor/counselor, registrar, PowerSchool expert, PSAT coordinator and LCHS historian. In addition to teaching, Debbie is also the Education Advisor for D.A.R.E. Alaska. In summer she enjoys teaching a summer Forensic Science Camp that is sponsored by F.O.A.S.T.
