James DeCrane
James DeCrane began adulthood as a photojournalist, reporter and television news producer. Five years ago, he made the switch to teaching, a move he said allowed him to meaningfully “follow and talk about Christ, the greatest teacher and storyteller of all.” His undergraduate degree is in Communications and Spanish from Indiana University. This year he obtained his Master’s degree in Education at Wayland Baptist University. James is a freelance writer, an amateur artist, avid outdoorsman and animal lover who hopes to own dogs and horses again someday. In the future, he hopes to write a book and do mission work in Latin America.
