Parents and Family
When you have a student at Lumen Christi High School, you are part of the Lumen community. Whether your expertise is school board participation or working in the concession stand, your time and talents are needed. Each family gives a minimum of 40 share hours a year although most give much more. Last year our parents donated over 3,000 volunteer hours.
Mardi Gras Gala Auction
The Mardi Gras Gala Auction, a magnificent silent and live auction, is an entertaining evening of fun, friendship and fundraising! It is our Lumen parents’ signature event to raise money to bridge the gap between tuition and the costs of educating our students. That gap for the 2011-12 school year is approximately 6,000 per student. This opportunity to attract new families is also a fabulous time to showcase both Lumen Christi and St. Benedict’s Parish.
